I didn't like my JOMs at all. The rears are not good. Fronts are passable, but no adjustable strut tops

Been a while since the last update but good things are happening! Finally managed to get the cooling system sorted along with the rest of the exhaust. Had an issue with the temp guage which turned out being a difference between the E34 sender and the E30 sender. After that was done I also had to replace the fan clutch as the one that was on the M20 was a little "tired".
Also sorted out an issue with the clutch slave and master. Both were old and full of what can only be described eloquently as shit. Ended up replacing both of them with new items.

After all that was done and bled up we dropped it off the stands....

.....then
Felt pretty solid, motor was nice and responsive. Z3 rack and shifter feel amazing. The JOM's are also a nice surprise, car sits well on the road without being too stiff which is exactly what I was after.
Still a lot of things to get sorted but felt great going for the first drive.

what a change a new set of wheels makes!
I kept black bumpers on mine to keep the "no options" look going, but after I painted mine alpine I wondered why I waited so long to do it.Simon

Thanks, yeah definitely going to have the bumpers and mirrors colour coded. That will happen when the whole car gets resprayed. Just looking for a decent place in Melbourne that's not going to charge me my left leg...

As long as it's Motronic 1.3 you're good to go[emoji1417]. Just plug your M20 harness into the existing body harness.
