After about 30 hours of working on this car this past weekend, it is almost finished. I installed the exhaust manifold stud kit, spark plugs, control arm bushings, tie rod ends, radiator, hoses, fuel lines, plugged up the wiring, intake manifold, headers, differential, Driveshaft, guibo, csb, fluids, bleed brakes and clutch, axles, and some other small pieces to get every ready.
I ended up starting it without the cooling system to be sure it ran. It started very easily and sounded awesome. I just have a few more bits to get and have the exhaust made and I'll be finished with the swap.
Still not many pictures because the all look the same since the car doesn't move.
Again, I suck at the continuous update thing. It's been about 2 weeks since I've started driving around in this car. I am registered to take it to Virginia International raceway in March so I'm trying to get some miles on it. Here are some of the completed pictures.
I still need to rewire the harness into a neat c101 plug, buy some better rotors and pads, get a new air filter, work out a solution to eliminating the evap check engine code, and to clean up everything as a whole.
What spring rates did you go with for your coilovers and do you happen to know what the rear spring length is?
8k front 10k rear. I'm not sure what the length of the rear spring is. I did realize that if you want to go really low, you'll need a shorter spring than the one that comes with the kit.
