    If a 1983 rabbit has the same ignition housing and the same ignition switch as my 944, wouldn't you assume it takes the same ignition lock cylinder? Cause the 944 one is $60 and the rabbit one is $12. What gives?

    Alright then, I pulled the intake, timing covers and "cam tower". This "cam tower" is Porsche's version of a valve cover, but cept it holds the cam and hydraulic lifters as well. I was wanting to rebuild the lifters, but unlike most other lifters in the world, these ones aren't rebuildable. So I can soak them in solvent and blow em out with shop air and they'll be much better than if I hadn't.









    I know what you're thinking, but nope, it's from this car, the motronic too. The similarities are kind of awesome.
