You asked for a pic of my Hartge H26 mono wiper linkage drilled to cowling.... You will still need to modify the driver side bolt to fit right RHD plastic cover.

It seems with the LHD wiper linkage, to delete the unnecessary nub/wiper arm mounting point can be approached a few ways. It seems to have the splined part which attaches to the wiper arm held within a fixed part. The splined part is abke to rotate within the fixed lart. The splined piece is held in place by a mushroom rivet device at the bottom and a snap ring up top. If the snap ring comes, out the spline would be free to wiggle. So, my idea at the moment is to use a cut off wheel and cut right above the snap ring, removing the splined nub, still savung the threaded section so it can be installed as normal with the washer and thin nut. This leaves nothing to stick up through the cowl cover while still retaining integrity of the linkage system.
Seems in the above picture, the splined piece was removed and in its place a bolt?
And the extra support piece I mentioned earlier was at the recommendation of Raul, from his experiences. He has seen some with and without from the tuners. Those without tend to have play. The brace seems necessary. Wiper motors are very powerful.

Will they allow you to purchase since the restrictions were put on euro parts?

The way ecs works is they will let you order it and pay the cash and then call you in about 2-3 days saying you cant buy it. They always did that shit to me. So i just went to blunt.

Ordered the cowl cover from FCP Euro. They price matched ECS price. I had a basket full of bits anyhow... so all shipped free.
It was not listed in the site but they quickly got back to me that the part was in stock. He, too, was surprised with the euro part being available. I wonder if BMW only has the limit on certain PNs?

If you have problems finding minor euro parts, let me know.
I can't ship parts like bumpers and such, since I don't have a company. Shipping price is gigantic when being a private person wanting to ship bigger parts.#ShenanigansE30 1989 Touring AC Schnitzer S3 replica http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=320784

So FCP, and anyone in the US really, was not able to fulfill that part of the order. I am back to searching for a cowl cover... Ruffian?
Cleaning the block for a coat of paint.
Chasing all the threads and getting as much work as I can done to the motor. I have the new banjo bolts but need their washers 11421252343. Do valve adjustment soon.
No word on the powdercoating. I told Dave no rush. Wishing I would have sent out a few more pieces.. may still try and get them in...
