Been driving the car around and everything works well.
But when I Accelerate hard in 3rd gear it gets stuck , and doesn't really accelerate from 3,000 to 4,000rpm . But Above 4,000 it free's up and pulls .
I haven't really experienced this before .
What could the problem be ?1990 Alpine 325is

Took some more pictures with a friend named Peter and his Glacier Blue ( edit , it's cirrus )
Here's just a few.
I also devised a winter "to-do" list .
- new spring / shock combo
- swaybar bushings
- engine mounts
- shifter bushing and maybe short shifter
- powersteering pump and lines .
- and possibly Mtechnica turbo style wheels with meaty treadLast edited by BECKSTER; 11-08-2015, 02:18 PM.1990 Alpine 325is

Peter doesn't have a gletscherblau. I think his car is Delphin. It's far too dark to be gletscherblau.
I would probably get your engine mounts done ASAP. I wouldn't drive a car with engine mounts in the state yours are in, unless something has changed. Not being bolted in and being in the wrong mounting holes is not a inconsequential problem like power steering not working.

I Read some DIY's and it doesn't look to complicated but I just have been waiting for my dad to get a break with work so I have help just in case I need it.
Planning on doing it this week if he's home . I just feel like I might screw up if I do it alone .
And also I just asked Peter and he said his car is actually Cirrus .Last edited by BECKSTER; 11-01-2015, 04:32 PM.1990 Alpine 325is

Nah, not too hard. Jack under oil pain with board between jack and pan to provide distribution of weight. You have to jack it higher than you think, don't worry too much about the engine hitting the fire wall.
