What is the toggle switch for next to the two usb's. And are you not doing a short shifter? That is one thing you will probably regret not doing right now. I am sure I have said it before but I love your interior.

What do you mean? I have the OE s54 plug going to the ECU in the glove box. I have Andrew’s harness connections into it on the engine bay, mostly hidden behind the M3 wiring panel in the engine bay.

The switch is for the M3 sport button, that’s the one that came with Andrew’s harness. I’m replacing that with an E30 for light switch with SPORT stenciled on it in the BMW font.

As for the shifter it’s the M3 Performance SSK from the factor. It’s about 30% shorter then the stock E46 M3 shifter. I also have the UUC DSSR.

I mostly meant the part of the harness with the relays and fuse holder. It's kind of a mess and doesn't really fit nicely anywhere.

Also, did you use a Z3M harness to reach the glovebox?

So you cut the back corner off the intake and plastic welded a panel over it? Similar to what Kassel offers?

Similar, I need to get pics from the guy who did that for me. I’m horrible with that stuff. His version looks much cleaner then Kassel and we didn’t cut as much.

Cool, thanks. I have an E46 M3 harness on mine. I'm not happy with the mess of wires so I'm in the middle of completely rewiring everything to pass through the firewall with a couple of mil spec connectors and a new fuse/relay box in the space above the glovebox.

It was riveted and then sealed as well, that thing shouldn't come off :)

Not yet, ECU is not tuned to turn off EWS etc. The programmer is off but should be soon.

Did you make this bracket by hand or machine? And if it was laser cut or something would you mind making another one for me? Looks like a great solution after looking for space under the car tonight!

I can't weld, unfortunately, so I am having a shop help me with things like that. They made it by hand. I can find out more details on that from them. I told them where I wanted to put it and they built the bracket.

Here is the mount, its not done yet, it needs to be cleaned up, but we are trying to keep it all up high to cover it with the original cover.
