Almost lost these in the move. Thank god I didnt I just looked them up and while they are not NLA they are $230 each now! I think I paid less than $240 for both of them when I got them 5 years ago.

    Whats after the MT2?
Well your never really "done" lol but pretty much its just little things here and there, some tweaks to get it close to perfect as I can. The project will really be done except one larger thing the AC still isnt working right. I am going to tackle that this spring, it was hard to do last year since we moved.

Yea I was lucky on the MT2, it wasnt full NLA when I got it but some parts were starting to go like the rear valance. Now I think its impossible to get most of it new. Its been sitting in storage for 5 years waiting for me to get around to it lol!

He had one left, I got a brand new set with all the mounting hardware etc still in original packaging. Tags still on the side skirts, stickers still on the other parts. It wasnt cheap but I didnt want aftermarket. The only thing that wasn't new that I had to get separately was the rear spoiler, bought and OE one that is being stripped.

Yep staying AWII for two reasons. One I like white, and two I repainted the engine bay before the swap and don't want to redo that. They are doing the paint job windows out, doors off doing the jams etc.

Haha! Its a pretty big shop. Its actually a collision shop but the GM is a huge car guy that uses the shop for full repaints. He has done a few I have seen and also repairs track cars.

Thanks it's a separate company that makes them. I forget the name, Bav sources them and installs when you do the refresh.

I was getting him ready for the full repaint. This will be one of the last pictures of the car in this state. In about 2 months he will be all fresh with the Mtech II kit installed. Dropping Klaus off on Tuesday.

I did get a chance to install my new gauges from Bavrest. I loved my old gauges, Greg did those in 2016, besides refreshing them completely (odo, batteries, board, plastic etc) he moved the tach to 8000, and added a volt and oil temp gauge. I was happy with it, but the only thing I didnt like was that the economy gauge didnt work with the S54 swap, so it was annoying that it was just there. I probably should have deleted that and called it a day.

Instead I had a second cluster built. The second one had all the refreshes of the first one, but I did green alpina strip on the tach, added S54 on it as well, upgraded red lighting and I put the volt/oil temp gauge in the economy area. I love the look.

Needless to say, I will be listing the original cluster for sale soon.

Here are a few pics of the new one, I will try to get better ones when the lighting is better.
