Thanks! That bar took a while, we made a segmented (w/ larger tubing as a slip fit) template bar to get the fit just right. Kind of a waste of material but you can really get it just right.

FredK, here is a video showing the grid installed. Kind of annoying when you are looking for it but it's a non issue when it isn't what you are focusing on.

Yeah that's not bad at all. When you're out on the track I'm sure you can't even see it because you're focused on everything else besides that! Thanks dude!

Nope, that was Justin. He was also in the Atlanta area also, his car was nicer than this one though. I'm not a big FI guy, too much stuff to break

Not yet actually, it's pretty close to finished. Work + race season has been pretty hectic thus far, I was making good progress on the e30 until my e39 m5 was rear-ended and totalled while I was working @ Sebring. Got side-tracked dealing with insurance and finding a replacement, but now all of that is sorted so I'll be getting back on the e30.

They were 16x9 all around with 225/45

Unfortunately it looks like I might be finishing the car to sell it. Never thought I would see the day, but I'm re-prioritizing and I need to free up some cash. I've been working in engineering for a while, with no degree, and now it's really starting to hold me back so I'm selling all my car stuff to help fund my remaining years of college. If anyone wants the car or knows anyone who wants a track car/spec e30 with a really nice cage and chassis, send them my way

I completely understand the thought and its a smart move. Just sucks. If you find my thread in the OT forum, you will see that Im in a similar boat as you but with slightly different circumstances. Best of luck to you. I think you should still have a basic E30 to drive around and maybe not own something as wild as a M5 to daily.
