Also on a side note, u will probably need a rear sump kit for ur 2jz to get it to fit.

From my research, you need a front sump and even then you need to modify that to be able to clear the steering rack

Lol. I also have the supra owner manual wiring diagram.

Will be keeping the m3 front stuff but u can have dibs on the rear.

Just pre-ordered the CD00x adapater from Suprastore like you. After going back and forth about Collins and Maverick kits I'd rather have it done right and the best way looks like using the R154 bell housing. Thanks for sharing the info!

No problem dude. Yea they seem to be a solid choice, especially seeing the quality of some of their other in house solutions. I plan on using their intake manifold as it looks like it might provide some addition brake booster clearance due to an angled cylinder 6.

Also just as for general updates, I think I am gonna toss the idea of using the stock cluster and make a mash up of gauges that I actually want (might use a mix of a supra dash too), so I dont need gauges elsewhere if I can fit them all, and run a standalone ecu. Thought about the iq3 but couldnt get past the digital display. Analog all day.

Further, just purchased a welder to fix some body stuff as well as make widebody fenders, bought ground control 5 lug swap coilovers, and will begin taking paint off/ strip the interior. Will post pictures as stuff comes in and progress gets made. Been doing a lot of reorganizing/cleaning of parts that already have come off.

Had some mishaps with ups, but a neighbor way down the street came over this morning to tell me that she had my coilovers and welder sitting in her house.

Ground control coilovers specifically for the e36 m3/mz3 5 lug option (they fit 318 and z3 as well.

Had the option for free paint so I decided on lsb as someone else was getting theirs painted as well. Also likely the car will be lsb too. Plan on test fitting this weekend, and I am supposed to be picking up an mz3 rear on Saturday!!!

Drove out to connecticut this morning to pick up a full mz3 rear from a front end totaled 80k mi car. Plan on putting this, along with the coilovers, on the car tomorrow.

Update- Did diddly squat this weekend. Got held up buying furniture for most the day sun (forced into it last minute), and attempted to get work done afterwards but garage was to damn cold. So Monday I ended up installing a natural gas heater in the garage. Will attempt to make some progress this week/ will def do some stuff this weekend.

Im doing a 5 lug swap as well, 98M3 up front and a 318ti for the rear, along with stuffer trailing arm bushings. Hopefully will be buying motor and trans mounts for the 1jz in the next few weeks

Nice. I bought the car with the 318 and m3 stuff already. Just went for the mz3 for the robustness over the 318 rear. Who are you buying motor mounts from?

                                So as for progress made.

Last weekend, my dad took a spill on his ducati (his shoulder is a bit sore, bike is fine too), so I did not have the extra set of hands to do the 5 lug swap. Instead, I began pulling the dash apart.

During the week, my dads buddy hit us up about a set of wheels he was selling. Figured use these to push the car around on until I decide on what wheels to get. They are 18s, so they might end up on my m3 eventually.

Pulled the rest of the interior this weekend, as well as removing the sound deadening. I finally got a good look on what needs to be repaired on the floor (actually less than I originally thought, so its good). Ground down a decent bit of surface rust and removed some shitty patch stuff the previous owner used. Some holes, but luckily mostly pitting. I will def get some good use out of the welder I bought.

Moving forward, I will continue to work on the interior. I plan continuing to strip what needs to be welded this week/next weekend. Depending on how my dad feels, the 5 lug stuff might go on the car next weekend as well.
