Barry, it is coming along beautifully, the dash looks great! I have a set of 16" x 7" Alpinas made for an e30 with et 23, 4 lug. Ran them on the M-Tech early on & fit that stance very good, fully restored with caps/locks/keys/logos/ BFG's almost new (bottom pic) Give me a call when your ready.

I have BBS style wheels on the M tech 2 vert, Style 5's on other cars, etc. I figure I can swap them back and forth if I prefer Alpinas on the M tech 2 instead. Time for something different but if I come across a deal, who knows what I'll end up with.

These wrap dashes usually wake up the interior.

Too bad it's for a wrong hooker. Thinking the supply of LHD dashes in UK is a bit slim.

Okay, the car is now registered which means I can drive it to the bodyshop for paint and kit installation. Or I may just install it myself. The ball is rolling again.

I have been lagging but the kit is at the body shop getting painted. I think I am just going to have the kit sprayed and do the installation myself. The car itself is pretty solid and paint is good. Early euro cars are sweet.

The paint shop is lagging and stringing me along. They say it will be done soon but I will believe it when I see it.

                                You and me both.

Got some pics from the paintshop. They say it's taking long because there are a lot of waves and imperfections in the CEP kit. While I'm sure there are imperfections I just think they are slow to complete jobs. I was out of town so I couldn't pick it up but I will soon.
