Oh and disregard the upside down intake, it's just like that for easy removal.

Does anyone know how to splice in the thermo switch from the 318 to the 325 thermo switch. Any help would be much appreciated.

My car started life with a M10, then got a 2.5 M20, then a 2.7 M20 and now a 2.8 M52. The lightweight body will be fun with the M20, but Im sure eventually you want to upgrade. Still not a bad place to start

So far everything works. However when I was putting the diff in I was t paying attention and stripped the first few threads and now have to get a tap and die set. Other than that all has been good. The donor car had the premium sound system in it but had the factory amp disconnected. With a few searches online I now have it in mine. I've replaced almost the entire interior with what the donor car had. PO I guess had the interior of project car redone and it is horrible, so after all is said and done I will be trying to put the interior back to factory. So far it's a fun project, would have liked to drove it and it been a weekend project but stuff happens. As far as for future engine/s, I haven't decided if I want to go FI or another swap. Turbo's are awesome but I like AC. I got the car for an inexpensive fun all around daily driver/weekend cruiser so going fast isn't quite at the top of the list as far as priorities but we'll what the future has in store. I'm really hoping I can have it all finished by Bimmer Fest.

So getting all the wiring has proven to be a bit more difficult than I imagined. Only thing I have left to wire up is the thermo switch for the radiator. If anyone is looking to do this same thing and need to know how/which wires to splice just send me a PM, no need to spend a lot of time researching when I've already done it. Only thing left to do is swap out the trailing arms off the donor so I can have disc brakes instead of drums. If anyone is in San Diego and needs some misc parts PM and we can work something out.
