Got the engine started last night around 8:30pm. Rode that victory wave through to get the driveline all installed. Drove it out of the shop this morning.
To do:
-Tie up the cooling system
-Exhaust, install O2 bungs/sensors/harness
-PS pump, mine broke, so I've got to mod a spare pump to disable the SLS function.

Guys, you know from my track record I can barely get a project car done.
Really think I'm gonna try to turbo this v12?
(I bought my v8 e30 back BTW)

Thanks guys!
More progress...
Got the fuel system all done up. M73 rails converted to only have an inlet. E46 fuel filter under the car. It's got the built in 3.5BAR regulator, so we'll see how that setup works. I'm using the old return line as the vacuum supply to the regulator.
Got a new windshield installed yesterday. Hype!
....and ended up making a crank holder tool for torquing the M18 crank bolt. It's a stretch bolt.
More tonight. I should have the thing driving this weekend. All this piddly little shit it taking me forever.

Popped the engine in yesterday. All went okay, but didn't get to my goal to crank it up. Need to make a tool to hold the crank pulley so I can torque the Jesus bolt....M18 stretch bolt....
Decided to go with a grey for the cam covers. I'm happy.

Rails are all mounted, just need to move the injectors over from the other engine.
Fuel line routing will be as such. The orange line is the input from the tank. Red/pink line is where I'll cut, pinch, and TIG the line together so it doesn't leak. Mounting them backwards so all the business is done where the fuel lines come up from under the car. Going to be nice and neat.
These rails are nice too because I can run the vacuum line from the throttles into those extra tubes and they can act as a vacuum manifold. Just had to clearance them a little for the hardware to fit, but it's all good now.
Sunday has been set aside for the heavy work.....

Working on getting m73 fuel rails to fit. With this and an e46 fuel filter (integrated regulator at 3.5BAR, m70 is 3.5BAR) I can have ONE fuel line going into the engine bay. Right now it's a feed that's Ts to go to each rail and a return, along with the ridiculous bullshit at the two regulators and under the intake. This will make it much simpler.
All the lifts were full at work, so I didn't get to work on the actual car tonight.
