    Haha, thanks!....v12 944 hmm?

I put the new belts and new 255lph fuel pump in it. It's amazing. I can't get over it.

Alternator may be getting flaky though, have to rev the thing up to get it excited.

Got the temp gauge/idle thing fixed. I had somehow lassoed the temp gauge plug with a zip tie and it wasn't long enough to reach down there, but it did reach to the intake air temp sensor. That explains why the temp went WAYY down when moving. I also had the plugs for the EML and the temp sensor swapped. SO I had the EML taking temp readings from the gauge sensor, the air temp plug plugged into the EML water temp sensor, and the gauge plugged into the air temp sensor.

All fixed now. Thing runs great. Idle is spot on. Sounds like a helicopter hovering above when it's idling.

I got a 255LPH fuel pump to pop in. It's still got the stock, loud 525i pump. It'll cut out at 4k after driving a while. Also new belts. One developed a squeak...its a cheap aftermarket belt and the back is basically smooth now. Once those two things are done I'm getting it detailed and she'll be all ready for Vintage.

I can't now. I may even have to get the damn thing painted eventually.

Haha! Yeah, this thing is so much better with the new engine. It's actually pretty pleasurable to drive.
