Audio System
Hey R3V,
since I have my interior basically completely dismantled, I started to make a list of stereo upgrades for the vert.
Head unit: Kenwood Excelon KDC
Subs: 2 8in Alpine Type R with German audio specialities box and mod
Amp:Pioneer GM-8601
Speakers & tweeters: need recommendation
I'm looking for good sound that isn't the top of the line and won't break my bank, yes audio is very important to me but so is drive ability.

I drove the car for almost 150 miles before I started my project.
The M54 is a beautiful engine IMO, it just makes you giggle inside when you drive it in an e30 chassis. The M54 only revs to 6.5k rpms so it isn't anything crazy, but once you put it in 2nd gear it just punches you in the mouth, throwing you to the back of your seat and its so fun to drive. The M54's lower end power is great because I mainly do city driving, so the power band is more usable for my situation cause I'm rarely in high gears doing crazy pulls. But for me the M54 is more than enough, it awakens the e30 chassis and is a super fun car to drive. Especially when I learn how to utilize the E30 on the track, man it's gonna be fun:devil:Leave a comment:

Interested to see how the dashboard comes out.
Have you driven the car with the M54? How do you like it?Leave a comment:

This looks like a lot of work, but you already have a decent start. Good luck.Leave a comment:

Yeah I know the late models have zipper Windows, but I check on my top and it has no signs of a zipper, hence I think I got the right one I'm pretty sure. Measured it out today, due to the fact that I'm going to be sewing the window in myself. :DLeave a comment:

I posted this car in the CA discussion section when it was on CL. It looked like a good price for a late model vert with M54 already installed. Did you buy the correct rear window for it?Leave a comment:

If I remember correctly, it's H&R sports with Bilstein Touring's all the way around, it has the same stock rusty control arms with a bushing offset. I'll get a picture in a little

I see camber plates, what suspension is on it? I see a blue spring and Bilstein shocks in the backLeave a comment:
