I don't think it's too wide but we haven't tried it yet. We wii be pulling the swap from my car soon to test the new oil pan so maybe we'll try then but I think another BMW chassis is more well-suited for the J swap. I don't want to go into details but we are thinking about this swap heavily.

Hardest damn thing to find was the male s2000 c101 connectors. We built a test jumper harness to use the stock s2000 harness and it works perfect. Should go into production in a month or so

              upper trans brackets are done

working on the new mount design

Needed a 2 door and a 318 so we looked hard for a black slicktop. We gave up and got a red one.

then this FN thing shows up 3 days later!

so we bought that one too

No, the ony thing reliable on the thing is the engine so that stays for now.

Looking to be less than $2900 for the "weekend" kit.

Yes, one piece steel. The cool thing is we want to make sure that if you have to replace something later, you have access to the parts. Any aftermarket m20 mounts work, factory e30 and factory s2000 colant hoses, any s2000 engine harness with our jumper.

We want this to be an easy swap to do that is easy to maintain.

sounds awesome! does this include modifications to the pan and oil pickup? is oil capacity reduced? baffled oil pan?
