Nothing major this week, just pulled the cluster so I can send the 63L fuel gauge off to BavRest and getting a 55L fuel gauge. While I was in there, I figured I'd verify my coding plug and make sure my 13 Button OBC was correct. Of course, why would anything on my car make sense.
Here's my 325iS Cluster Coding Plug...
which correlates with:
62-11-1-377-368 Coding plug for 325e/eS -9/87 "06"
62-11-1-385-580 Coding plug for 325e, 10/87+ "19"
62-11-1-385-468 Coding plug for 325i "BMW 17"
62-11-1-381-699 Coding plug for M3 "12"
Now let's take a wild guess at what coding plug I have on the 13 button OBC...
Here's a list so you can use to help make a guess:
drum role....
yea that's right men, I have a M3 3-1.1 TYP 65-81-1-381-792 coding plug in the 13 button OBC.
Of course I also have my e28 535iS 13 button OBC, but it's a Type 56
but it does me no good.
Looks like the EVAC portion of the dash is coming back apart. Also, what would cause my EVAC, cigarette ash tray and light control unit light bulbs to stop working?
Does anyone know where I could buy a 325i On Board Computer Coding Plug? 325i 3-1.2 TYP 65-81-1-381-793 up to 9/87
