Those splined quick releases always have a lot of play in them. I would consider some cam lock style one or NRG / Rouge on the budget. They play drives me crazy, Even makes the car hard to align.

I have the Z3m Mishimoto, I'm sure you can get a super efficient chevy radiator to fit. Curious.

Which head gasket did you go with?

I did a twin mount diff with the E36 cover in my car. Can't wait to see yours come together!

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

I noticed the play so I'll see if it drives me nuts or not. That was part of the reason for making the adapter and not welding to the column. Wanted to be able to change if I didn't like it.

Head gasket is a Victor Reinz that I already had. I compared it to the OEM that came off and I saw no standout differences between them. And even though there is some hate for them most reasoning seemed biased. With proper torque and hot torque on the ARP headstuds I'm confident it'll hold up. If not ill pull it and do a full high boost rebuild. The car will never be a daily so it can sit if need be.

Was working on wiring a bunch and a couple little things and everything seemed like it was going one step forward two steps back. The Instagram has helped get me motivated but I finally made a detailed list of what's needed to run and what's need to be finished and its helped a bunch.

In the 3 years of owning this MTech kit I've never mounted in. And with everything kicking my ass I decided to throw it on just to see how it looked. Also let me see where the oil cooler could mount.

Also got the tires on the wheels which was a pain. Ive mounted tons of truck tires but not many car tires. I'll definitely be taking them to Discount next time. Tires are Zestino Gredge 07R in 235/40/17, mounted on 17x8 et 31 BBS RK. The local drift guys love them and even some autocross reviews were excellent. For a 260 treadwear tire they are definitely going to be sticky.

Why the swap to the euro s50 oil filter housing? What is the advantage?

Similar to the s54 housing. It has ports for an oil cooler already built in, so no messing with one of the filter caps and an external oil thermostat.
