The style 44's suite it well, there is a guy on e30tech from Philly that has them.

How is the exhaust note combined with the s14? Bassy or raspy? Or a muted dull burble? Do you have a wav file of it?

It's pretty loud. Much louder than I'd want for any street driven car. On the highway at higher RPM it has a touch of raspiness to it. If I rev it at idle it also gets a little raspy. But it's pretty deep and loud under 5k. It sounds really nice. Just a touch loud.

I would say style 5's but they are so over done now, that I would bother. M paraellels would look real good, a friend of mine put replicas on his 85 735 and that with H&R's and Bilsteins looked awesome.

He just dropped it off at the body shop for some paint.

That would be great Mike. I need that exact cat (Magnaflow 43009) when I return to the States in about 4 weeks, so that I can get my S50 to pass smog.

Possibly we can work something out so that I can take it off your hands when you guys are done with it :).

Going to order the BBS centercaps in a week, BTW.

Why does the ass end stick so high in this photo?

Is it just due to the coil overs are not adjusted to parallel the ground?

We haven't adjusted the coilover height yet. We're waiting for our corner balancing session before we tinker with the height.

The only markings I found on the bottom said this.

Not sure who makes it. I can't see the topside of it, but doesn't look like there's anything up there.

Magnaflow does have a 94000 series cat. I don't think you need a 43000 series converter because your car isn't OBD-II.

FWIW I don't know why you want to run catless, especially in CA. Magnaflow has a fairly newer line of metal core 300 cell cats that are proven to flow well, and handle a wide variety of engine tunes. The best part is, they're cheap at around $120 each.

Much respect, Mike. Very well done.

This pic clearly shows the inspiration for Nissan's early 90's Sentra. On second thought, inspiration or straight rip-off?
