What did you do to your E30 today?

i picked up my Mtech II kit yesterday

Picked up a set of Zinno plastics last week. Today I filled in a big paint scrape on one, then wetsanded it smooth. Then cut them both. Tomorrow I will polish/wax them and then they go on the car :) Oh yeah and ordered smoked turns and HIDs. Now I really need to get some red tint and smoke tint spray for my front signals/tails.

Today I put the car on stands, disconnected the rear exhaust brackets, took off 1 of the 6 exhaust to exhaust manifold nuts, and fought with the other 5 nuts. PB, heat, big breaker bar, and still no success. It makes me wonder if taking off the exhaust manifolds from the head and then cutting the nuts off would be easier, but with my luck I'd strip the head.

Looking good, especially for one of those wavy-ass BMP kits. Looks like you've got it pretty well sorted out, I still see a few small waves, make sure you get all those out of there! :up:

got a valve adjustment but the tick is still there. maybe my injectors are just louder than other e30's. It seems to run fine i think but I'm kind of a newbie with these e30's :???:

I drove backwards out of my driveway and into the street and hastily brought it up to 6 grand and sidestepped the clutch still rolling backwards, bone cold.

hmm i hope you remembered to pull the ebrake.

installed my Motorsport roundel sticker on the trunk and waxed the driver quarter panel.
Next, installing my spacers in the front and bilies all around (only have spring right now, sucks to hit a hole...)

I spent my day making someone elses E30 new again. Story of my life.

Try using thicker oil. Or do another adjustment. Your injectors are not that noisy.




I did nothing on my e30 today. Im 2500 miles away from it. :(

I rewired my gauge panel and put the wires in a nice loom and then wired up my new head unit.
