installed all new drive shaft bolts. then cut the front perches off the struts, fixed some holes in exhaust, then all back together. :)-FREEDOM- is cruisin at 80, windows down and listening to the perfect song-thinking "this is it"

Installed a $50 318i exhaust on my eta (with some MIG-ing, of course) and patched this up with some mild sheet steel:

Finished anthracite carpet install, black kick panels, pulled passenger side seat and cleaned it all up so most of the functions work again and are smoother/easier. Also, replaced the blown rear deck speaker with one that actually works, and swapped in some Boston Acoustics CX5 5 1/4" two-ways into the kick panels.
Found at junkyard: 5 basketweaves that need some decent finish before they'll get swapped for my bottlecaps, another IR premium deck, another premium amp, another driver side sport seat to swap bases with, and another couple heated seat switches in case mine throw a fit and stop working. A working sport seat thigh support bracket for my passenger seat as that was broken.'89 325iComment

Using piss-poor tool availability, attempted to remove the E36 front brake calipers in prep for struts R&R. Got one caliper off using a breaker bar and floor jack on the bolts. The bolts on the other caliper aren't budging, so I'm going to let them (and all the other nuts/bolts involved) soak in PB blaster until next weekend & buy a couple sturdier sockets to provide better leverage."If the sky were to fall tomorrow, the tall would die first."
