What did you do to your E30 today?

Swapped my bolts to studs but found out my rear spindles are shot so now have to replace my spindles So much fun

Changed the cam sensor seal, replaced the driver's sill trim, and repainted the lower exterior trim.

yesterday, installed the tuner coolant temp sensor(OBD2) and the splitter for the obd1 signals. I'm obd1 swapped and the sensor was in the head was a obd1 sensor and would need to be rethreaded to fit the obd2 head.

Finally got around to adding sound deadener.

Finally started getting some parts in for my late model 318. This was the first to show up, other than the poly bushings, which I'm waiting on new suspension components to do.



Of all the parts on order, this was the first to come in. The console was detailed immediately after this, so don't worry about the grime.

Koni Orange and H&R sports all around
e90 top hats
new front shock mounts/bearings
Garagistic rear subframe and diff bushings
Rear wheel bearings

Finally got around to adding sound deadener.

How is the sound deadening? Is there a noticeable difference?

Replaced rear trunk shock and adjusted the trunk to be flush when closed. With a new shock installed there was upward pressure on the drivers side that pushed the trunk up just a little bit. Adjusted the center bracket thingy to bring the trunk down a tad more when shut. Its so weird having the trunk pop open now when I press the button to open it.

Looks like this person hasnt been active since May, I will try PM'ing them but does anyone understand what was done to fix this?

not making a ton of progress as of right now but i figure if i'm out in the garage cleaning things up, it's better than nothing





Also picked up a few more 885 heads which brings the tally to 4 now. I guess I'll get around to rebuilding them eventually.
