I definitely like how the cage ties in to the diff and subframe. Do you have any in-progress shots of that process?
The cage also seems to have much better nodes than most of the ones I see being DIYed. Hopefully a few issues with the back section (shock tower plates) will be fixed and we'll get some updated pics soon. :)
Im looking to redo the rear to look like this. i really like how the loads are transfured into the cage

There is also no point of stress to focus on which puts the box in 3 planes of stress. Not ideal but then again its easier to build yer first time. :)I wanna go Fast

Not his protective anything. But I will stick my foot in the mouth of armchair racers and keyboard fabrication specialists.
People talking the talk and never walking the walk poison online forums with misinformation. Something that is detrimental to the readers who might possibly find inspiration in someones build.
Unless you have done something similar to this or beyond it. Keep yer yap shut, watch and learn.I like to build things with metal n stuff

You don't know my background... those who have been members of this forum do. I'd suggest before you get all uppity and start bossing people around, you stay silent and learn a bit. Would I come into your house, sit on your couch and put my feet on your table and say "Get me a f'ing beer resident bitch"? No... I don't think so.
PSS: Here is just one sample of "What I have done that is similar"

Don't build up an S14 as a filler engine if you want to use a V8. That's silly.

Eric,
I am a very very strong advocate of S14's. I love them.
However, I really must agree with the others... if you don't plan on keeping the S14 in the car in the long run, do not bother to "build one up". Rebuild it to stock specs, or have it rebuilt for you. A well built stock S14 is way more powerful that most people know/think. No joke. Don't listen to the forum people who tell you otherwise, chances are they've never driven a well built stock S14.
If you're ultimate goal is to swap in a V8, and you're trying to replicate a DTM'esque car... here is some inspiration: http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread...ight=Wayne+DTM
Read/Look through the whole thing.
