Sure, I can calibrate the gauge according to your specs and give you a print out of what the different leds represent.

Not for the narrow band though - there is no adjustment - That would of course make no since, you wouldn't ever want one.

Very sick, I thought I had seen that you had digital number displays before, do you have them still? I'd much rather see "14.7:1" or "10psi" or "163kpa" or something.

^well, you might want to re-think that.

Here is why I say that. For parameters that are constantly changing, you don't want to be looking at digits. All you will get is a stream of numbers that means nothing. The only way you can even make a display like that readable, is to slow down the refresh rate of the numbers so that your eye can read them. But even then, you can't SEE with your eyes how fast or slow that value is changing over time. With a gauge, weather it be a needle or an array of LED's, you can see that - so you are getting two key pieces of information; What the value is, AND how fast that value is changing.

So digits are good for things that don't change a lot, like oil temperature. But, digits are not good for things that change a lot, and quickly, like boost.

          Does that make sense?

I hear what your saying george, but It is my experience that numbers even with boost pressure or voltage are still helpful. Boost doesn't rise "that" quickly imo. I can easily sit there and watch it climb in my friends turbo e36 and it reaches full boost around 3800rpm.

The m42 crowd would enjoy oil temp and pressure... especially considering BMW did not tighten our oil pump bolts.

You're on to something good there George.
If you can only change colors of those lights.
                Have them blink too.
It would be a sick product.

I'm sorry if I missed it in your vid, but I did not see
a changed in vacuum. Does it not go below atmospheric?

Also, I've been waiting for the MPG gauge for a LONG time. :)

watch the video again - anything below ~14.7psi is "vacuum".

I don't think #s are very neccesary either, engine load can change quickly and dramatically, as can the AFR. A gauge really only gives you a visual indication of what is happening inside the engine, it will give you clues but it's not going to help you change x load site at y RPM. Unless you are capable of remembering the AFR, engine load and RPM continuously for every change in the engine, you're much better off with a laptop datalogging those inputs directly.

Are you asking from which company would we like the sensors from or where the sensors will tap from? I am a bit confused.

Personally, Id like to use one of the drain plug style senders for ease of use and relative low cost.

Now we're talking. Water temp, too, I would assume?
I'd like to see one that runs of a sensor adapted to the oil filter housing...have to do some research to remember which size that would be.
                            0-100 psi for oil pressure
                            0-250 water temp

I sooo want these for my track car.

I'm with you, I need some gauges for the track car.

I think that the following would be awesome:
0-100 psi (or 150? I don't know how high is too high) oil pressure gauge
0-250 or 0-300 oil temp gauge (where the econometer is if possible)

                              Looking good George!

100 psi oil should be plenty. The highest it should be would be around 70-80 on a really cold day.

Diff temp might be good too.
