    Haha, thanks bud. Glad i could help.

    One word of advice, get the management situation figured out before you start making/building stuff. Unless your getting a stock DME tune, itd be a really good idea.

    I have one in my basement from my dads old mustang haha, i gotta come up with a way to mount the gauge though.

    I have some work to do just to see why it happened. It deffinetly wasnt the brakes. I was just chillin not even boosting and the car started bogging and it wouldnt accelerate. Then the smoke. I was too close to home to stop!!!!!

    Im really glad i made the decision to drive it home caue i really really would have been screwed if it lit up somewhere else. I guess its time to get an extinguisher!

    The weird thing is that i have probably 8 hours driving the car exactly how it is. Maybe i hit the cat a little hard and it started falling apart ... idk

    exhaust temps can skyrocket when the engine runs lean, do you have an EGT (exhaust gas temp) gauge setup?

    Thanks guys!

    I just threw some new manifold to head gaskets in and it doesnt leak any more and its pretty impressive. I really really need to get MS up and running cause its just starting to wake up when i have to shift (9 psi at like 4500 rpm). Should be pretty awesome! Now i have a really really good reason to get MS working.

    And i left my solder wick at school so ill be playing with removing the unnecessary tacho circuit this week.

    Manifolds in. WG isnt recirced :( couldnt do it. I need another flange set so i can take that off to pull the downpipe. WOrking on the oil plumbing and the charge/intake pipes right now. charge pipe needed a little persuasion haha intake pipe thing needs one more section. Oil drain should just go on :-x Ill get back with my first impression once im back at school hopefully soon ha

    And of course. Theres like 40 welds on this thing and im a shitty welder :P

    I just took some rubber and put it in between the mani and the head. And made a little plate thing for the turbo flange...

    All done:


    SO GLAD THIS IS GONE


    Yay!


    Hopefully a good update of she runs tonight but thats kinda pushin it.
