Put in a few pulls with an STi. We were pretty damn close. He was ahead of me every race except the one where he missed a shift :) but i hung with em. Ill find out what hes got done to it soon.

That makes me happy cause my car isnt tuned hardly at all and its only at 7psi.

** edit. Said STi is makin 19psi boost and has a turbo back, tune and a few other bolt ons. I guess he had good reason to look kinda disappointed when my untuned 7psi bimmer was chillin at his rear fender :)

Well see what happens now that i dont have to shift every half a second and i can go faster than 125mph. 3.73 + zf box = bad newzzzzz

335's supposedly run about a 13.3-13.5 depending on what you read...

Still not bad for my lowely m50 that made 170 or so whp a few months ago. :)

Really? What mods do you have done to the s50 Cary??? I pull on them from a roll...but then again I have around 240whp. ;)

So i went with a new 335i today. He pulled me about 1 car legnth from 40 - 125. Im pretty stoked. This is all with an untuned 7 psi and shifting at 6k rpm cause it gets lean up top...

Just got the 3.25 LSD in... What a great upgrade. Its actually pretty civil on the highway and 1st and 2nd gear are much more meaningful. I also think i fixed my waving speedo. New "pulse generator" and the plug that clips into that. It was a good night.

Meh. Thats what i heard too. I want to do it right so i dont have to do it again. I know rtv'd probably be fine but w/e. Despite my crappy looking piping, Im surprisingly anal about certain things.

Why did you get a rear cover gasket? New cars don't even have a paper gasket. Just break out the RTV Grey.

I ended up reflashing MS firmware and actually downloading megatune again. I had downloaded everything on my mac and transfered it to my shitty tuning laptop because it had no internet. Upgraded it to windows XP and now i have internet and all is well.

With that, starting fresh with my whole tune and playing with the vr sensor pots and the trigger angle, i got the car to idle for about 15 seconds :) At that point, my battery was about dead from going through every single table in MS again.

This weekend im going to verify my trigger angles FOR REAL and go from there. Im hoping i can get it idling by monday.

I also spent $200 at the stealer today :( mostly on parts for my new LSD :) . Output shaft seals and dust seals, rear cover gasket, speed sensor, o-rings and crush washers. Got a bunch of little clips so i can put my window trim back on and seat shocks so the backs dont fall down when you pull the handle.

Hey, sorry its taken so long. No im not using an adapter board. I made my own adapter harness.

Got my 3.25LSD and a new trunk lid today!!!! Hopefully BMW has the rear cover gasket or can get it by thursday cause i want to throw this biotch in before my trip to NJ on friday.

    Got the trunk installed.

Also got some new control arms + AKG poly bushings and a Cabby sway bar hooked up. I have to pull the CAB's and regrease (with the right stuff this time) cause theyre super noisy. I just got in from making a set of tools so i can do it on the car semi easily...

MS is still proving to be a pain in the ass. Im going to try reflashing the firmware and i still have to verify the trigger angle. Finally got my 'new' tuning computer squared away though.

Are you using one of Ryan's adapter boards? I'm in the middle of building one for a buddy and I'm a little stuck. We got no parts list or instructions for setting it up.

I honestly can't remember which way I had my VR wires. I think I have the yellow going to the the pin on the top row (ground) and the black wire as the signal wire. I am using the stock engine harness.

Hrmmm. Whats your set up on that? Are you using the stock engine harness? Whered you put the black and yellow wires on MS?

    Thanks :)

Very nice. I had to reverse the VR wiring also. I was able to get it to run but it would hit a brick wall at like 3200 rpm. After that I have been able to go as far as I want to.
