Looks like you need to hit the pop out window handle with some SEM black.

Good catch. I do, but the interior isn't what I'm currently focusing on. It's on the list of things to do after Monterey though.

I FINALLY finished all the prep work for the front spoiler. All mounting issues, bodywork issues, priming, and wetsanding to the "bottom of the valleys" have been taken care of. All the wetsanding was the worst and most labor intensive part. I sprayed the back of the spoiler satin black. Looks awesome. Tomorrow morning I drop it off at a super prestigious Harley Painter. He asked for the certain prep-work I've done and will make it looks AWESOME, from what I'm told. I can't wait to get it back. :D

Cut off the brackets that the rear diving board used to use to hold up the apron trim. Finished with sanding and touch up paint. However I left a square, because if I cut the whole thing off, it would be a square of smooth paint, and the rest would be texturized. I can always cut the square off and finish with texturized paint though. Anybody have advice on this? Is it a texturized primer and then schwarz paint over it? Or is it just a texturized paint? Any specific brands to recommend?
                      Before

                      After

Time to do a gas tray makeover. It looked ok, but there were a few issues that needed to be addressed. The gas cap was a bit dirty, so I used some metal polish and a dremel and it looks awesome now.

The boot that goes around it was torn, dirty, and faded. So I ordered a new boot and a new cap at that matter. It was cheap so I figured I'd try polishing my current cap and if it didn't work out, I'll have the new one. So once the boot and cap arrive i'll take pics of the gas tray.

I kind of custom made a spare bulbs and fuses foam that holds the correct bulbs for the euro e30. The euro e24 (6er) spare bulbs and fuses foam hold the same bulbs that the euro e30 holds. I acquired an e24 one in mint condition, however most e24's use bullet fuses, so did this foam. It held 6 bullet fuses. So I used tiny scissors to perform surgery to make the 6 bullet fuse spots, into 3 tooth fuse spots. Now it holds 7.5, 15, and 30, which are the only 3 fuses in my fusebox anyways. The actual spare bulbs and fuses foam for an e30 is exclusive to the euro e30, and considering almost nobody even knows a large toolkit was available for an e30, they're almost impossible to find. So this will work since it holds the correct bulbs.
Old one on right, new one on left.

new tooth holes (don't have a picture of when they were bullet fuses but you get the idea)

I know everybody wants to see the front spoiler, I do too. It's currently at paint, will come back hopefully tomorrow. Better be tomorrow or Tuesday... I left for Monterey on Wednesday!

Got a call from the painter this afternoon, the front spoiler is done, he says it looks awesome and tomorrow morning I'm picking it up and installing it almost instantly. I'll snap a pic of it and post it up here but I've got a lot of stuff I still need to do for prep for the contest. I'll take tons of pictures at the contest of all the other cars and mine and make a thread for it.

There was a lot of stuff I've done and repainted so I'll just show you the gas tray.
The OEM cap and boot came. Turns out my old chrome cap was aftermarket! I had no idea. Also turns out they made a locking gas cap for cars without central locking, that would be me. I didn't know about the locking version until I had already ordered the non-locking version but after the concours I'll order a locking one as another goody. The keyhole goes in the little circle in the middle, much like a 2002 gas cap.
