E30 335i - The new track (drift) project

Yeah, havent been in the biggest mood to post on this thread as we got the car somewhat ready to rock, and on the way to the track the bolts on the drivers front wheel came loose.
....and yeah.
I caught it before the very last stud snapped, so no body damage, but the wheel hub is pretty shot. It was due to two people working on the same thing and one assuming the other tightened the wheel lugs and vice-versa.
There's drift events for the next two weekends though, so I'm just working on getting the car ready for that.
I posted some quick clips on the media section of the car.
Today I fixed some leaks, re-bled the brakes, installed the quick release + steering wheel, fixed my windows (thank god! it was a sauna in there...), and tested the cooling system.
Everyone complains about bleeding the cooling system and overheating issues. Our bleeding method was on a flat surface. Car sat at 1500rpm for 30 minutes and never overheated. :D
Remaining on the agenda are hooking up the nitrous, drilling the intake mani for a fitting for the brake booster (damn B34 intake manifolds), and other misc stuff here and there.

I know exactly how you fee, same exact shit happened to me! :xYeah, havent been in the biggest mood to post on this thread as we got the car somewhat ready to rock, and on the way to the track the bolts on the drivers front wheel came loose.

Luckily I caught it just like you, before the last bolt went. It was my left rear, so I just got a whole trailing arm assembly from the Pick'n'Pull, rather then go through the headache of changing the hub. :p
How does it pull? How's the handling with all the extra weight over the nose?
Glad to see things are coming together for you Erick! :DCheck out Undr8d Empire on Facebook: www.facebook.com/Undr8dEmpireLlc

I haven't driven my car much. It's so obnoxious loud that I'm seriously afraid of getting pulled over by just opening past 2500rpm.
I don't know how the car will handle with this suspension, but we'll see this Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Tomorrow I'd like to get an alignment on the car.
