              HEY!! Thanks a lot Chris!

I do spend too much time between 8 forums... 6 BMW and 2 Chevelle

So the bodywork is getting closer and closer to being done and I am getting very excited! Pictures wouldnt really show much right now so none of those. I am still in desperate need of e30 m3 bumper mounting hardware... I might just have to run plastics for a while...

I got the motor and head back from the machine shop where they went throught the entire motor and honed the block cut new valve seats in knurled the intake guides and put new valve seals in. Machined block and head to 20ra just in case mls... Crank, cams, pistons, rods all checked out perfect.

had crank and cams polished, pistons and rods cleaned and prepped.

Cell phone pics... Why cuz im lazy. :D

Looks good dude!!! Just refreshing the stock motor? Not a bad idea, theyre pretty well proven. I was going to build a motor but decided to drop in a m52 because theyre so beefy from the factory...

Right on, sounds like a good recipe to me dude!

Just curious, how much did you spend on getting the block cleaned up like that?

It was just under $400 for the hot tank, hone, align and check main caps, chemically check the head for cracks clean up, cut new valve seats machine valves, check valve guides, knurl the intake guides, assemble head.

then I took the crank, pistons and rods and cams to him. That was like $70 to check crank , cam for cracks and pistons skirts mainly for collapse, rods and polish crank and cams and clean pistons and rods.

They are a great machine shop.

wow thats a pretty good deal. It cost me almost $300 to deck my head and do a quick valve job.

                            Got some wheels in today...

The deep dish wheel is the 9.5" that I was unable to fit... :( The other wheel is the 8.5" that I will be running.

                            Mounted up my 265-35-18

                            They fit like a Charm...

they tuck nicely. I could even space them out 5-10mm...
