i have a building and every year all the fire extinguishers have to be checked and relabeled or recharged. "carl" met me up there friday and i accompanied him into about 5 office spaces so he could check all the extinguishers. on the way in he noticed my wifes landscaping and flower gardens and started naming off flowers like he knew his shit. this immediately set off an alarm so i quizzed him on his interests. he said he was a gardener as a hobby and then asked me if i did the gardens. he was a nice guy but by now i have a pretty good sense carl is a polesmoker. i told him no, my wife did and i just did tha manual labor. so carl asks me since i dont like to garden, what do i like to do in my spare time. he had that "i want to suck your dick " look going on. i told him i was into old cars and he acted very interested but i knew he was only after the meat. after he asked me all about old cars he said hed love to get a ride in one of them and then asked me if i ever went downtown to any of the clubs.
