Yeah I have had rabbit just about every way you can make it, in the crock pot with french onion soup mix and a ton of veggies is my favorite.
Around here I get all my meat (that I dont hunt myself) from a local rancher down the road, weather its chickens, 1/2's of beef, "bacon trees", and I have buddy back out east in N central PA that raises the best lamb I have ever had, so when ever I get through that area I, call ahead a couple of weeks and he has 2 or 3 cut up in the freezer waiting for me. I dont do the store bought prepacked meat with all the Carbon monoxide injections dye jobs and other mass produced shit.
Yeah we eat good, it may not look fancy but it will keep you warm on those long cold winter nights, and provide plenty of fuel for working hard all day.sigpic

the pic just shows a lack of class, and is really disrespectful to the life that once occupied that body.
i refuse to make my body into a graveyard for tortured, diseased, and slaughtered animals. once you've read "diet for a new america", by john robbins, it will make you think twice about throwing a few slabs of bacon down your throat.
i dont hate on those who do eat meat, but, karma aside, at the very least, its extremely unhealthy, and asking for cancer, heart disease, and high blood pressure.
good luck to the meat eaters.. you're gonna need it.
the poorest countries, (the ones who cant afford meat, and survive on grains, veggies, etc) are the ones with the lowest obesity, cancer, and heart disease rates.
the richest countries, (the ones who consume meat daily, as a normal part of life) are the ones with the highest obesity, cancer, and heart disease rates.
coincidence?
its like this.. you will NEVER hear a doctor cut open a cadaver, and say "yep.. it was the lentils that did him. i knew it."Last edited by sefb222; 05-11-2009, 12:21 AM.Originally posted by HollandThere should be a restraining order to keep kids 100 feet from that car at all times. it's not hippie crap. it's science.
read or watch "diet for a new america", then tell me it's hippie crap.
save the insults and shit talking for those who deserve it. because i speak the truth, and can back up my statements with FACTS, that gives you the right to jump down my throat?
pffft.
enjoy the colon cancer.
it's what my stepfather is dying of... the doctors told him "a lifetime of red meat is what did it"
now he has no asshole, and has to shit into a bag.
mmmmm. burgers!
sidenote.. you ARE right about people working harder, and walking in poor countries.. that DOES make a huge difference. it also make a difference in cities. when our country became suburbanized, a car became a necessity, and people stopped walking and riding bikes. add to this the (paid for by the food biz) "food pyramid" thats shoved down the throats of every kid as soon as they enter the public school system, and we have a nation of fat, weak, auto-dependent retards who are told day after day that they need "X grams of protein" and "X grams of dairy", which is doing more harm than good.
this is not hippie shit. it's facts. read a little, find out where this "hippie shit" comes from, and then form opinions. your knee-jerk, reactionary rhetoric is useless, and says nothing other than that you are a mindless redneck.Last edited by sefb222; 05-11-2009, 12:45 AM.Originally posted by HollandThere should be a restraining order to keep kids 100 feet from that car at all times. The part in red) They have the lowest rates of all those things for 2 reasons. 1) IF they cant afford food then how can they afford all the fancy heath care to detect such things and the mortality rate is that much higher in poor countries Vs. rich WTF do you suppose they are dieing of . Oh yeah starvation. 2) They are not fat because they cant afford food so this really leads back into point 1Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

2) humans arent supposed to eat meat, because our intestinal tract is so long. we're designed to process vegetation. animals can process meat because they are pretty much a straight tube that goes in, and one that comes out.
by the time we eliminate "digested" meat from our bodies, it is ROTTING, and carcinogenic. rotting meat. literally rotting flesh.
keep lying to yourselves, and saying everything is gonna be ok. it's not.
the shit is bad news. not even from an animal rights standpoint, but from a health conscious perspective.
