Yep... even without the video the dude was wrong. 'Sounds like he pretty much executed the criminal.

Is he going to be charged? Probably. Will he be convicted? Probably not. Given the history of robberies, let's just say it's going to be mighty hard finding a jury who will convict the guy.

If the man's life was in danger, he only protected himself by shooting the robber. If the robber was already running away, well, that's not self-defense anymore...

I do just love how the Media, NAACP and the DA have already turned the Perp's into the victims, and the repeated referencing of the "execution style killing" just makes me ill. If this had been 2 white kids and black business owner he would have been given the keys to city for this same action.

You think a black man would be given keys to the city if he shot a white kid 6 times? In a hicksville like Oklahoma? More like a death sentence . Yeah, the kids were stupid for trying to rob the store, and deserve some sort of punishment. However, this was overkill regardless of the color of the person who did it...

IF the guy is convicted of murder, the defense could attempt to show that the kid was already dead and therefor the murder was in self defense. the following 5 [unnecessary] shots were simply defacing a corpse.

really though, if some1 points a gun in a threatening manner at you, and you have a gun of your own, i say defensive murder should be legal. dont pull a gun unless you understand the reprocussions.

While the law says its only S.D. till the threat is eliminated weather the guy runs, or is dead, makes no difference, if there is no longer a t threat of great bodily harm or death then its murder. It will have to be proven by the DA that the kid was not trying to re aim his weapon when he got plugged agian.

OK, has a No duty to retreat/ Stand your ground law, one of the best forms of castle law there is, so he dose have some leg to stand on there as well, all be it a small leg. I say good for him, (prolly should not have shot the kid 5 more times but we were not there to make that threat assessment) the sad thing is this is gonna take some fancy lawyerin to get him off with out any time served, and a pretty sympathetic jury. I myself would never convict for this, it was a S.D. and thats that.

Shooting him 5 more times is wrong. You shot him in the head; take away his gun, and call the authorities. I think the other 5 rounds he pumped into this guy was his emotions and lack of judgment getting in the way. He probably wont face first degree murder charges, but he will probably get something like manslaughter, which still sucks.
