          400 2 stroke is basically = to an 800cc 4 stroke

          Those RD400's make awesome cafe racers.







          They're also good at scoring tail.

                      My daily in the early 80's, Kawasaki KT250. Trials was the rage back then, this was the answer to the Bultaco. 1st and 2nd gear were basically useless on the street; they were stump-pulling gears. It was a 2 stroke tuned for low-end torque. Glorious!

                      It was marginal on the street but perfect for bushwhacking through miles of trails for an entertaining ride home.

                      Cops used to pull me over and I would... all the way into the woods where I'd disappear.

                      My dream bike these days is a BMW R/75 or an RD400.
