Looks like a Marine Shithook all folded up for transport

Wrong. I'm fucking blind. I think it's the Sea Scallion or some shit like that.....

I was in the AF for 10 years as Electrical/Environmental Craftsman AFSC 2A6(7)6. I was tired of being the only electrician for 28 aircraft and working 14+ hours 7 days a week so I got out. I KINDA regret it since I should be a MSgt by now making $64K a year instead of half that...lol. But, I had a blast. I was one of the few who always went TDY (Belgium, Croatia, Israel, Sardinia, Canada, Slovakia, etc) and had great assignments (UT, ITALY, and AZ where I currently reside). I am taking advantage of the G.I. Bill going to school full time (Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Health and Nutrition) and working full time. GOOD LUCK!

        Used to fix this piglet.....

Now, I build and retrofit these (Police packages, etc)

BTW, THE HELICOPTER IN THE ABOVE PIC IS A BROKEN CH-53E SUPER STALLION BEING AIRLIFTED IN A C-5 GALAXY (167th Airlift Wing, Martinsburg, West Virginia)...

Yes it was but it was during their cadre phase I am amongst the crew. The BSI was a 15 on that trip. I hate Djibouti. And It wasn't broken we had to yank it off the jet twice that mission.

Im honestly not sure yet. Every bit of reading ive done hasn't swayed my opinion one way or another. I did read that c-130 loadmasters were needed more than any other and to expect to be on one.

Are you IN the AF yet? Im lazy and dont want to reread...lol. Do you want to be on fighters, bombers, recon, or airlift? Because even if you get into an AFSC that you want....you have NO CHOICE which airframe you are on...

130's are cool, I would go that route if I was 18 again. But I like to live in Hotels and such and 17's and 130's are not that lifestyle.

It's fun but I like the Winnebago.

Nevermind....Load Master AFSC...got it. That's a good gig. I have a buddy on AF 1 who is a LM. You are at the mercy of the AF which airframe u are on though and wont know til the end of tech school. The tech school is difficult from what I recall. But its all relative to how hard you study....just like EOD. I think I would love to be a LM on KC-135s...well a boomer actually. That shit is just sick. I have to scrounge up a few pics I have somewhere of a refueling of our 16's over the Pacific. Next would be LM on AC-130's or Pavlows....

TTU is a breeze, You are given a choice but it's up to USAF requirements. A LM is a LM it doesn't matter what airframe you fly. If you fly a Cessna, you are an LM each time you fly as you have to calculate the CG each time.

I really wish I could join a branch of the US Armed Services. Would be so much better than what we have here. Although I guess I could take up strike action and demand increased wages such as a some of the members of the SANDF (South African National Defence Force) did.

                          Dumb fucks.

yeah I have no problem at all with 130s; grew up around them and always thought they were badass. Only thing that I wish was different going into the airforce now is I should have done it at 18. I'll be a month shy of 26 with the start of basic

Ah, well I haven't worn a set of BDU's since 1995 so it's been awhile. I am not all that current on afi 36-2903 aka 35-10.
