have fun at Lackland. This is the same time of year I went to boot camp there. practice this statement in your head before you get there. "Sir, trainee (your last name) reports as ordered."

Some how people always have trouble remembering that reporting statment the first few days with the stress and all.

Next three years in school/upgrade damn. Did you already take the PJ test pre basic? That is a new one. Best of luck to you it's a grueling school. Are the still doing Triage care in New Orleans or have they picked a more crazier city for it.

Good Luck. It's a great way of life, I did 21 years.

To quote an old, crusty Master Sergeant during my first duty station in-processing:

"Learn all you can, because it's the only thing we won't take away from you!"

Of course, I showed up there with an Article 15, (suspended reduction in grade to AB and $250 fine) 2 Letters of Reprimand, and many Letters of Counseling in my dossier!!
