              you spy the roof of an 85' MB 300SD parts car. Dad has his SD he uses to travel with, has a little over 750k on the original motor, only ever had valve adjustments on it too..

                  if i was you though, I would have snatched almost EVERYTHING from the lightning.
                  (fenders, doors, seats, bed, etc) because as you know, all is reqiured is to be able to drive it there.
                  you coulda sent it there bare as fack!

                      Oh it is gonna get it when I am there next weekend. I was doing mechanical type stuff and getting it running, safe to drive etc. I will be hoping a ratio of simple green and water will get all that scum from the tree off. I am not expecting show quality shine, just clean. it was after all a work truck. Its full of dents and dings. Will serve its purpose of a truck very well.
