I swear of any domestic v8 there isn't a better sounding exhaust note than that of a 302 with a flowmaster or equiv......

well seeing how ford offered three engines for a while, the 302 wasn't really a big jump from the 4.9. the numbers were almost if not identical (I know the torque is the same) and the response was just the same. I just never seen it to be neccessary to have the 4.9/5.0/5.8 when they could have just sold the small 8 and the larger 8. or the 6cyl and the 351.

Well, I can't be picky on a free truck, but if it had the 300 I6 I wouldn't complain at all, if taken care of they will run for hundreds of thousands of miles.

i dont see any irony here

its a bit hard to tell by just being able to see only a headlight and the top of the roof, but to me it appears to be the front of a mark 1 rabbit or caddy

not trying to start shit, just sayin', i could be completely wrong

my first ride was a 88 f-150 with a 302 that thing would burn rubber with a swift blip of the gas .....i dont miss it at all.... two gas tanks!!

its nice to have a truck though to pick up parts and motors for swaps and other crap

i know all to well what usa mk1 front ends look like but thanks for showing me that ugly face anyways. i guess you were completely wrong though. park a MB 300 next to a rabbit and take a gander from the front.

Note that he's keeping the e30, selling the new(er) 4Runner, and picking up the free Ford to use where the e30 is inapproprate (like a HS ag class)

Honestly, I'd love a free Ford at thi point too. Usage a pick would offer vs having to rent one once a month to all errands and chores lumped into one weekend. the time and money plus I could use it as a winter beater and not get upset over it.

                            Nice freebie.

precisely. I am gonna miss it alot, rode well, looked good. But I can take at max one month's payment after the 4Runner sales and get the ac in tip top shape, then all the things I would really miss the free truck would have it.
