you wrong. most of the people that bought these cars could afford them anyway. the 4500 is just a bonus to get them in the door.
really? because you give welfare to people that can already afford to get a new car? this was more of a "get them in the door" thing. most of the people who bought these cars could have anyway.
and anyone who says this program hasn't help can come get a job at toyota here in georgetown kentucky, USA!!! they have regained/ started hiring on new people. and no it wont be gone in a month or before they start. if it would they would have just hired more temps and or only reextented hours for the people still on the line. but they not only reextented hours for the shifts but have started to hire on alot more people. they are not stupid and know how to use their work force to the max.

funny thing is toyota's largest plants are in the us. and 95% of the parts are made in the us. so just because its a jap car does not mean all the mony leaves the county. in fact most of it stays here.
