Lots of things to be pissed off about. 900+ billion fighting a multi-year two front war with no clear exit strategy and half the resources needed never really made me feel warm & fuzzy.
Watching some youtube videos of mid 90's caravans and explorers getting their motors popped and 3 billion given directly to the people in an attempt to promote a real economic boost to the market? Nah, doesn't really bug me in the long run. There's a lot of cars out there, they're making more. There's more e30s destroyed in a single winter on this board than were killed in the "clunkers" deal.
Weep all you want over a textbook "Free market" economy that hasn't existed in 150 years, get angry over vague esoteric concepts that you gleaned from an Ayn Rand novel you read last week. We're a service based economy. Take out the incentives to buy, and people will stop buying. It all falls apart after that.
