Wow George, I'm really glad to hear you're ok! It's amazing how these things that are supposed to be small can suddenly turn deadly. I've had strep numerous times when I was younger but Mono pretty much killed a few years back. I remember waking up in the hospital and not knowing where I was, that was after five days of coma though so I can only imagine what you've been through. Good luck in the coming days and if there's anything you need, I'm only a PM away!

Maybe a private dance from Kate to speed your recovery...?

Nah, kidding, I don't want to you relapse!

Holy shit George, glad to hear you're alright.

I know how your family must have felt, my cousin went through a similar ordeal, except he fell off a ladder and hit his head. He was put into a coma for about 4 weeks and had no expectation of walking let alone speaking. He's up and kickin now.

damn man. Strep laid me in the hospital for 8 days, and nearly took my leg. I still have a huge scar on my shin from where they scooped it out, they dug nearly 2 inches into my leg. I'm very glad to hear you are revived, and are recovering. If you need anything, I'm sure r3v will throw its collective $0.43 between us to help.

u can do it george. mind over matter. if u dont mind some pain, then nothing mattters, just go for it.

muscle atrophy is no joke. happened to my left leg after i sheared the tendon suppoting the arch of the foot clear off the bone.

here's to a speedy recovery! this sounds pretty unbelieveable. glad you made it through.

muscle atrophy sucks. I broke my foot pretty bad in HS, was about 6 months before I could walk again. my right leg is still smaller than my left, and it happened almost 16 years ago.
