service tech at a dealer here in Germany- really doesnt pay all that, but it supports the family. hustle side jobs and sell stuff to support my habit. when it gets really bad [I] go to the train station and give handy Js for extra cash.

Emergency communications at a very large airport. Part time gig as a firefighter pays for my car habit.

I deliver the Chinese made shit that your money-grubbing wifes and girlfriends buy at TJ Max, and spew cuss words at all of you dumb asses that think trucks that weight 80,000 pounds stop on a dime.

I'm a 2Lt in the AF, in navigator training right now.

edit: looks like we have a few members in the aviation community on the forum once I read through the whole thread. Very cool.

Amen to the understanding woman part. I have a good job in mental health as a clinician; I am currently going to school for Masters in counseling psych. But time is the issue for me now that I have work and school and girl. No E30 time except for wash.

Pay isn't bad for my region, but a baby that is due within the next week has haulted all car funds. Totally worth it though! :p
Sounds like a fun job, and congrats!

Ha, my brother did that for a while. He smelled TERRIBLE every time he came home.

Right now I'm doing fire alarms, sound, card access and assoc. systems installations and service for mostly commercial applications. Can't complain about the pay at all, esp for someone who lives at home and has no real bills other than school loans i'm paying back. Hoping to finish up this money pit of a car and start saving for a house. 2nd interview tomorrow morning for a very different career path - it's going to be a brutal interview to say the least but I hope it turns out for the best **fingers crossed**

It's very fun to read what everybody does and how many different and what may seem like oddball jobs there are out there. Somebody's gotta do it!
