What do you do to do what you do?

I actually started a thread exactly like this not too long ago but I'll play along.
I work full time as Head of Fleet Maintenance and Service for a large street sweeping and landscaping company. I work on everything from walk behind and ride on mowers to our big gun street sweepers. Its a hard job and doesn't pay horribly well but I like the atmosphere and who I work with/around. The management has offered recently to pay for my ASE certification to better assist me in the future either with this company or another company. So that;s not so bad either.
I don't make nearly enough money to fund my addiction to my car but little by little I get the job done. It doesn't take much money to make these cars look good. But to maintain them is a different story.

Go to university full time, so only have around 12-20 hours a week of working at Home Outfitters. Pretty dreary and low paying job, but they're always able to work with my school schedule, so it's worth it.Leave a comment:

omg dude my dad has a tofu business and he needs a delivery boy! Do you feel like relocating? Just want to make sure you spent the proper amount of time tuning your car, did you spend a month tuning the suspension like you should have?Leave a comment:

Been in sales for 2 1/2 years. Both parts sales and car sales. Still doing small-scale part sales to a select dozen customers though the contacts I have left over from KO.
I went back to school to finish my bachelors in Marketing, and have started to bartend since I can only work in afternoon/evenings.Leave a comment:

I alternate working for the city of Newport Beach. In the summer I work as a swim instructor, and in the fall/winter/spring, I work as pretty much a custodian at the Newport Coast Community Center. I just set up a bunch of chairs and tables for an hour, and the other 4 hours I get to sit at a computer and do whatever I want "facebook/e30 forums/homework/etc."Leave a comment:

I move tons of meat a week for my clients to stuff into their mouths. Some are just happy with nomal quantities, but others are only sedated with double the meat. 8"-16", it depends on the insatiable hunger for sausage, beef, what have you. Some just pile a handful of limp noodle into their gullet. Oddly there is a market for the hot loose beef sandwich, saturated with salty gravy.
Any way you descipher it, I'm a meat peddler. It pays the bills.Leave a comment:
