Just had a GT-3 in here for a yearly and a 2008 turbo for suspension and exhaust.

....and the owner of the GT-3 dropped it off yesterday while picking up his 911 turbo....

....annd the same guy is bringing in his '98 Speedster Monday.

Anyone know if getting a decently well sorted out 911 for ~15k is reasonable or is that just money pit territory? I am talking like pre-964.

I would say a solid well sorted 911 of that era is a 20k ish number. 15k will need work unless you get a good deal. Pick the area you are ok compromising in if you choose a car that needs work and get a good shop to do a PPI before you buy. Very easy to drop multiple E30 sized piles of cash on these cars.

way more info needed here...

like all cars, any used car can be a pit...but 911 pits can be very deep. Get a PPI by a really good 911 shop....and any/all records etc etc....

SC's will be closer to 15k........Carrera's not so much so.....
but even still good models of both will be 20's.....or more...unless u luck out.
