Ugh, I'd like the white ones they are selling in Japan.

So dennis, is $300 worth being able to play the old PS2 games?

can't wait, they better have a non M E30, something like a late model 318i or 325i(or knowing the series they will probably have a 85 325e with diving boards).

For the record, there is only ~200 cars with digitized interiors, out of 1000+, that is about 1 in 5, or 20% of the cars with full interiors.

Unfortunately, the page you were looking for could not be found.  If you arrived at this page because you followed a link on Metacritic, please be sure to l ...

All the cars WILL have interiors, just not to the same detail levels of the 200 premium ones.

Anyway, does anyone else here not use cockpit views anyway and use a far back rear shot so you can pay attention to the angle of the rear of the car, or is that just me?

I also use the far view. I do appreciate the detail FORZA 3 has in the M3, but as realistic as it may be, it's not the same as actually sitting in the car, adjusting your seat, and moving your head around to see what going on around you. Most people I know, love the cockpit view.

The far back view on gt is retarded! The camera stays in line with the car to much, like it's connected to it. I use the roof cam. I will be very disappointed if they don't have it.

fanboy rumor? WTF is that supposed to mean? Am I a spy for forza that has come here to turn peoples noses against GT?

It's confirmed that there is no cockpit view for the non premium cars. Go to the GTplanet forums and read.

HAHA! Shit thats too much just to play some older games...I presume I can't do any mod to the 40gb version huh :(

I actually prefer to play with the cockpit view this way I see what I'd see in reality. For me it just adds that extra bit of challenge...

completely agree, and this far away view is one fault in the GT series in my opinion, due to the following reason...

Forza's, and practically any other racing game's rear view is much better.

Yeah I feel that forza3 follows the path that the car is following and not which way it's pointed
I'm the biggest gt series fan. I just hope that the physics will actualy hold up to forza.
My biggest argument is that even with 1000hp and a fully lock diff your car go's strait as an arrow whilst doing a burn out! WTF!

I always thought the outside the car view was cheating.

In forza, I like the ground cam if i need to be really fast, or the in car view if i'm looking for more of a challenge

I used to be a gran turismo fan until I played (bought) GT4 and GT5:P. The physics in those have been bad enough to turn me off. If they've got the physics down in this one I am down as fuck though. It'd be nice if turbos didn't spool instantly as well.

I just bought a PS3 a few weeks ago specifically for this game and GTA IV. After buying the prologue the other day finally, I am unimpressed. All these amazing graphics pictures are horseshit. During gameplay, they look about 1/2 that good. The physics are interesting to say the least. Maybe with a wheel it would be better, I don't know. Sierra's 'Viper Racing', back in 1997 for the PC, had a more realistic physics engine IMO.

This is the first video game system I've ever bought, and I only bought it because after seeing the GT5 pictures, I couldn't imagine the game wouldn't be amazing. Don't get me wrong, it is fun, the graphics are great, etc... but it's nothing like what it's hyped up to be IMO.

I'll stick with blowing shit up in GTA IV on PS3 and keep the racing to real track weekends in the e30. I doubt I'll be buying GT5 unless someone tells me it's nothing like the Prologue.
