The guy who I played on's wheel, he had made his whole setup by hand in his shop. Might buy one off him... And damn that wheel whipped me around.

He had a base that was square and he pinstriped it himself. It was painted black.
He showed me a pic where he took this track car he was building Sparco seat and put it on. When I used it he had a Honda Prelude seat or something mounted up.

The pedals were on a base on a pipe, and a pipe clamp was under the seat to adjust length. The table for the wheel I dont know about though. Didn't pay any attention to it.

He had a G27 mounted up. Ill talk to him about it. I doubt he has time though. He does mechanics work out of his house in his massive shop.

So far, I've converted an old stool with a wider, thinner top that had double the mounting screws in it. I had to remove one of the cross bars to get into where the pedal set sits, but it's still not to my liking. Can't wait until my stand comes off backorder and ships, unless I find something else better.

I'm just playing arcade mode to get used to the mechanics of the wheel and get back into playing. That and dinking with settings.

So I got a Driving Force GT wheel and have been using this 20.00 table from ikea. Fully height adjustable. Not bad, and helluva lot funny than playing on a damn controller.

finally hit lvl 30 and gave the redbull challenge a go...yea, extremely difficult is an understatement. Man do i want that car though. -.-

Traveling home tomorrow, some work on the BMWs Wed morning, and then I can FINALLY get back into GT5. Looking to build up enough cash to get a formula car.

but yea theyre sexy, you get one gifted at lvl 40 though so dont waste your money either way.

Has anyone else's PS3 told them it doesnt have enough hard drive room to play gt5? I literally deleted everything I could find that I could delete and it still says I cant play. I did a reset and it didnt make a difference. Anyone smarter then me with a PS3?

I bought mine with the 40gb or 60gb cant remember and I ran out of room a loooooooooooooooong time ago. Now a 500gb hd sits in my ps3. Only registers 380 of it for some reason though. Just back up your current hd and upgrade it. It's super simple

no clue..but i installed eveything i could for it. I even went into the options menu and installed everything there too.. ill check how much i installed all together as soon as my 4.5 hour endurance race is over...
