I probably wouldn't jump into the swap right away. I'd enjoy it as-is for at least a little while. It does seem like a good deal.

Miami is a bit of a hike, but we'll see.

dang, that exhaust is like $400. wtf?

Yea scooter/ bike exhausts are expensive.. Not sure why.

That 50s probably got some life left in it if its been taken care of. I imagine itd live to see 15k, even 20k. I think its hard to gauge what the lifespan of the engine will be

I found another one. Its a lot closer and much lower miles. Same price, but is an '03. Apparently its a few mph slower than the newer models.

I love these things, I keep on thinking I want to buy one. Then I remember I'm 250 lbs and live on the top of a very steep hill, and there are hills inbetween me and town. Sounds like I'd be the fat guy on a scooter going 5mph uphill with pissed off traffic behind me.

Didn't they make a 150cc ruckus? I need to find one of those. I have a motorcycle endorsement so I don't need to stay at 50cc.

The old 250cc ruckus looks lame. I guess I'd have to get a 50cc one then motor swap it.

Looks better than most scooters. And that extra 200cc's is probably really nice.

Get a CDI, itll put it closer to the newer models, add a variator and it should move fine. Or just swap it...

The big ruck is 250cc, but ugly. Do a gy6 with a BB (180cc) swap to a regular ruckus and it should be just about on par with the big ruck and a whole lot prettier (and an aftermarket follwing)

Im not really a fan of the big ruck

                      Bump.

What do you guys wear when riding? Jeans is not enough, and my chin gets cold. Could use some warmer gloves too
