Meh, Seattle is just as hilly, if not worse. Plan routes accordingly and you should be golden. ( a few mods would help of course)
I wish, Our house is on top of a huge hill. Theres no way I can use it to get to work and school is on top of the hill too. If I live in the urban areas where everything is close I would definately get one but I live in the part of town where you need to get on the freeway to get anywhere. Plus I live in the ghetto I need something fast enough to avoid all the Will pick one up after college and I move somewhere else.
cool stuff. I'm searching craigslist for ruckuses now. Wheres a good line between high mileage/low mileage on a scooter?
Hey man, I always wanted to get a scooter for the Anna Maria/Longboat Key route to Downtown SRQ. I think scooting around SRQ would have been a lot of fun. I paid $2100 for a modded one with 1k miles on it. Stephen only paid $1800 for a Brand new, completely stock one with only 118 miles on it. So you just have to play it by ear and search around!
2008. it mustve been a serious daily driver! It looks like fun though. I've read that the 150cc gy6 engine swaps are pretty common and I've got a chinese gokart w/ that engine.
Longboat/Siesta/downtown is exactly what I've got in mind for it.
