When I was 17 I had to drive my parents Astro van until I could save up enough money working at BK to buy my first e30.

Did you drive a couple different R32's lol and a couple S4s? Or kinda just go with what R3v said and bought the first R32 u saw

I drove a B5 S4 then found out those engines are time bombs
then drove 2 B6 S4's one cab one sedan
then 2 R32's this stock Tornado Red one im getting with 63k on it and not a ding or scratch and a Blue one with exhaust and OZ wheels on it with 98k on it and a creek when you pulled in and out of driveways, then i found out the car previously had was slammed and thats why and they were both the same price. also the red one was a one owner car and the owner is 36 years old:)
I also even test drove a 2003 X5 3.0 and it wasnt for me at all. But i have been eyeing up this R32 for a couple weeks now and after factoring everything together it is the best buy:)

No i dont, but i found a $300 one with a blow headgasket on CL that the guy states is clean for its age so idk where hes going with that and i have been talking to my neighbor about letting me keep it in there garage possibilly, i am going to go look at that on friday when the guy gets back into town, i have always been interested in the e30's and always will but its just the fact of getting the right one to fix up, what i want is blown engine/clean body for under $500

It's not impacting you directly, I'm willing to bet you don't know the OP in person, and willing to bet even more you'll never meet him face to face. I say to the OP, let em whine, fuck the haters. My parent's never paid a dime for any of my cars, and I owned a lifted rock monster jeep wrangler, a nice low mileage WRX, then a brand new STi. I paid for all of it because I applied myself to get good grades and make good money (not flipping burgers at BK you fuckass). Hate all you guys want, but you're not out there working to better your current situation, are you? You're sitting on R3v bitching about a 17 year old. Same situation with Namsayin....
And I know, I'm here on r3v too driving a 20 year old piece of shit BMW, but the fact is mine is cleaner than the majority of the cars on r3v, I treat it well, I worked my ass off for all my toys, and I still work my ass off to make $$ when I'm not in class or doing homework.

oh yeah and now since you dug enough, im going to let you know how i got the majority of the money, from my uncles maul practice law suit,
he had an aneurysm and he was put into a coma then when the were pulling him out they forgot to hook up the oxygen and he had sever brain damage and we decided to take him off life support because he would have never wanted to live like that and i got 25k from that, how does that make you feel, and he would have loved to see me use the money to get myself something he and i both enjoyed which was cars.
