Is an E30 prestigious?

3. Features that even some newer cars don't yet have
4. It's a classic... Or at least is quickly becoming one.
5. Becoming rare, and good shape ones are becoming hard to find.
6. Girls love them.

And isn't prestigious just another word for shiny? Wax that prestige on and enjoy all the attention and envy...

No they're not prestigious.

Not to sound like a tool bag, which I'll surely sound like now, but- Really the only E30's that are "special" or even maybe "prestigious" would be the E30 M3. I only say that because of the limited number produced and history.

The E30 itself IMO is a great car (I own three, two being non-M's), but there really is nothing overly special about them.

Just as someone said earlier, If you say you drive a BMW people tend to get excited, but when you tell them what year they'll respond with "oh". I even get it with my M3.

you're insane if you think 240s don't have "heritage". datsun 240Zs are to the 240sx as the 2002 is to the E30, so if you think in 10 years the e30 is going to carry prestige, then I anticipate the 240sx will too (except so many have been drifted into shit, lol).

And the CAMARO doesn't have heritage? It's like the fucking pinacle of "american muscle"... Not my cup of tea, but still, not without some heritage.

Datsun didnt make a 240sx, they made a 280Z. In fact, fuck the 240 all together. Because in Japan, its not even a 240sx. Its a completely different car. The chassis is the only thing that resembles the real deal in japan for US versions. Not the same. I mean, if we're talking E30 as it sits in Europe, this is a whole other conversation. In fact, now that I think about it, the 280Z is related to the 300ZX, not the 240sx. Either way its "borrowed" Porsche technology.
Edit: Forgot they made several flavors of Z's. So the 240Z exists. Still, fuck Nissan.

I get some looks in my e30, but probably because kids think the kirk rollbar is a "roll cage" and the sound coming out of the exhaust is something other than a warmed over NV M50.
