Nice looking super car. just ditch the twin electric motors and up the power of the v8 to around 700 and thats that.

Super cars are not supposed to be GREEN or Hybrids they are supposed to drink fuel, snort fire, belch exhaust, and assault the ears.

Super Cars are supposed to over load all the senses, and leave you feeling like you just got mugged for your last 3 bucks when you get out of it. Not give you a smug "I am saving the environment feeling" and give the urge to sniff your farts.

Fucking beautiful design. All of these hybrid haters in here with unfounded opinions... This thing is the best of both worlds. The always-on Torque of the electric motor, and the growl of the 500hp v8. Bravo Porsche Bravo!

I was always curious why hybrids weren't sold for their performance benefits. Electric motors are great at launching from a standstill- electric motors make the most torque at 0 rpm. Combine that with the torque/horsepower that occurs later in the powerband for an internal combustion engine, and there's a lot of performance benefits that could come of it.

Probably because most hybrids only gain an advantage at speeds less that 50mph. They are paired with an underpowered engine that has to lug around a crapload of batteries and an electric motor. This car seems to have more in common with a 2009 F1 car than a Prius.

but while i like the look of this concept and eventual production care i think the looks and feel of the CGT will be one of those timeless classics like a mclaren f1 and a f40 etc.
