No, it is that bad. They are helpless in the snow. The Civic Hybrid suffers from the same issue. Release brake, get nothing. Apply accelerator & it is like a light switch. Oh wait....it is one.

I didn't have any trouble last time I drove one in the snow.

And if I want to send it to the floor vs. vents? Defrost? Manually change the radio station? I hate iDrive for the same reason.

Was it wrong of me to light up the tires on my Passat TDI next to a GreenPeace rally held on the city square? I felt a little guilty leaving them with nothing to breathe but soot. (with chip & injectors I could PAINT black stripes on the road with my exhaust :evil:)
